bluecrane is engaged by the State of California Office of Systems Integration as part of the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO) for a portfolio of Projects being undertaken at the California Employment Development Department under the common program of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Modernization (UIMOD).  The portfolio of Projects includes a wide variety of systems design, development, and implementation efforts affecting all aspects of UI client service and operations including alternative action plans and corrective action. For over four years, bluecrane has provided:

• Development and management of business and technical requirements
• Analysis of current and future environments, including application architecture
• Evaluation criteria development
• Special Project Report (SPR) development

bluecrane was the Requirements Development (RD) consultant for EDD's Call Center Network Platform and Application Upgrade (CCNPAU) Project. In that role, we:

• Analyzed business processes
• Managed the process to develop future business processes and requirements through JAD sessions (leading, facilitating, and managing the JAD sessions, as well)
• Managed development of Use Cases and documented the results
• Developed Traceability Matrices; managed process
• Developed a Systems Requirements Specification (SyRS) containing detailed requirements
• Developed an initial high-level network architecture
• Recommended evaluation criteria and scoring approach

bluecrane we provided procurement-related services for EDD's Disability Insurance Automation (DIA) Project. In that role, we:

• Analyzed and documented business processes in Use Case format
• Managed the process to develop future business processes and requirements through JAD sessions (leading, facilitating, and managing the JAD sessions, as well)
• Developed a Systems Requirements Specification (SyRS)
• Developed the requirements portions (Statement of Work and related sections) of the DIA Project Implementation RFP
• Recommended evaluation criteria and scoring approach
