ABOUT US - STEPHEN PATAY

Stephen Patay is President of "Patay & Associates" a consulting company providing engineering and management consulting to high technology companies.

He is currently a member of Los Angeles County Business Technology Center (BTC) Advisory Committee and Mentoring Committee. (The BTC is the largest technology incubator in California.) Mr. Patay is very active in the annual review and mentoring of the over twenty plus start up companies who are tenants of the BTC. Mr. Patay also provides consulting services to several of the tenant and graduated companies of the BTC.

Stephen Patay has actively worked with many small start-up entrepreneurial companies over the past ten years. He has reviewed and written business plans, provided market research, developed strategies, supported proposal activities, assisted in merger and acquisitions, and provided technical and general consulting services as required.

As Corporate Vice President for SAIC (Which was the largest employee-owned research and engineering company in the United States with Fiscal Year 2005 revenues of $7.2B and now a public company with $8.9 B revenues). Mr. Patay became involved in a number of technical and business development activities supporting the company's significant growth. He reviewed strategies and business plans of potential acquisitions, developed strategies for growth in the healthcare, life sciences, environment, homeland security and wireless technology sectors. He also led several merger and acquisition, and strategic planning activities. Leading the Year 2000 activity for the corporation he obtained comprehensive insight to all major programs and computer related technologies within the company.

Previously an Executive at TRW Space and Defense Sector (now Northrop Grumman), he became involved in strategic planning for new initiatives leading to the acquisition of major companies and the divesture of entities that did not fit future business plans. Mr. Patay also managed several large engineering organizations involved in software development, engineering services for ballistic missiles and spacecraft, and the development of major command control and communication centers for the federal government. Mr. Patay was also the Program Manager of a several hundred million dollar program to upgrade our Nations Missile Warning System.

Mr. Patay has significant technical expertise in fluid mechanics, astrodynamcics, hypersonic aerodynamics, guidance and control and real time software development.

Mr. Patay received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois (Champaign Urbana), a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is a graduate of Executive Business Management Program from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)
